Post-Impressionism is an advanced style of Discount Oil Paintings of Impressionism. A well-known artist Roger Fry in London in his first exhibition coined this term to describe 19th Century art. Van Gogh Paintings, Cézanne and Gauguin are the champions of Post Impressionists and Seurat, Toulouse-Lautrec and others of Impressionism.
Impressionism was established in France in late 19th Century. The apt frame of mind with active themes is laid in the art with colour and light effects. Post Impressionists are dedicated to the nature. They focus on better expressed scenes painted in their own idiosyncratic method. Both have real themes, real colors and really amazing brush strokes but miscellaneous deepness in passion.
Though good to work single-handedly, Post Impressionists feel safe to exhibit in partnership. Paul Cézanne’s abstract paintings motivated Pablo Picasso to upshot the idea of Cubism.
Paul Gauguin of Tahiti came up with new style of painting provoked by the rituals of the countryside society. He personalized this style with rich color harmony with clear manifestation of stain-glass upon the canvas. Gold and silver also added to the beauty of these paintings.
Vincent Van Gogh, a Dutch artist better known as ‘Expressionist’ had talent to do excellent brushworks with flamboyant colours whose work is in demand worldwide. Henri De Toulouse-Lautrec was Post-Impressionist whose art contained graceful outlines in contrast to Impressionism. Georges Seurat came with his style called Pointillism with tiny dots.
Therefore Post-Impressionism brought styles like Fauvism, Neo Impressionist Paintings, Pointillism and Cubism to the modern art.
